WEST COAST SERIES:
This project was made during my residency at the Malaspina Printmakers studio in Vancouver. The title of the series makes a reference to the time I was there and to the influences that came to me directly from the studio as for example; the recycled materials that I used. To the indirect influences of being in a different space.
Studio Sixty Six is donating 25% of sales of the West Coast Series mono-prints to Cornerstone Women's Housing.
Why Cornerstone? Because we have been asked to "stay home and stay safe" during the COVID-19 pandemic but, for some, home isn’t a safe place. Cornerstone helps support women who are in increased danger in this time of required isolation.
