Discomfiting photographs of the human body

The rising Ottawa artist Sabrina Chamberland is skilled at simultaneously drawing in viewers while discomfiting them. The University of Ottawa student’s photographs have already been exhibited around town, and a new show at Studio Sixty Six (202-66 Muriel St.) demonstrates further Chamberland’s determination to turn the human body into something that can at once “attract and repulse.”
