The art of U of O grads hangs in new exhibition in the Glebe

Surfacing II, opening Oct. 9 at Studio Sixty Six (66 Muriel Street in the Glebe), is an opportunity to see the strength of art coming from the University of Ottawa’s fine arts program.

Eight graduates and undergraduates from the BFA program will explore a range of media to investigate the idea of “what lies beneath the surface?” The eight artists include Stanzie Tooth, Laura Demers and Jessica Bell, who was shortlisted for the 2013 RBC Canadian Painting Competition.
