You have to be brave enough to decide to be an artist but also you have to be in a community that pushes you.

-Printmaker / Instructor/ Curator of PUSH Guillermo Trejo

Shots from the vernissage of PUSH at studiosixtysix (Muriel St, just behind the apartment building at Bronson and Holmwood), featuring work from Guillermo’s Ottawa School of Art print class.  On until June 26th, definitely check it out for the craft, the ideas, the playfulness, the chance to see what’s in store from Ottawa’s newest generation of print makers.

goodthingsottawa has featured some images of the PUSH: The New Printmakers vernissage! Thanks to goodthingsottawa for the coverage! Stay tuned for upcoming posts about the show.
