Artist Insight
As much as my work has been about accumulation, the images evoke the growth of things in the physical world.  This work intimates accumulations of a less tangible kind.  Layers of experience, especially the traumatic kind, can alter genetic sequences.  This experience is fleeting and yet it leaves its marks at a cellular level.
