Artist Statement
Gabriela's current work explores painting and abstraction to depict her visual, emotional and psychological experiences with art, having a particular interest in the traditional themes of landscape and still life. She aims to question the relevance of painting and these two themes in relation to the current contemporary art landscape which is dominated by the Digital.
