Studio Sixty Six - Terms and Conditions for Online Art Sales

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order.

1. RETURN POLICY
We do not accept returns or exchanges of original artwork sold by Studio Sixty Six.

2. SHIPPING & HANDLING
Please select the shipping option provided at the checkout. Free pickup is also offered.
For any further information or requirements, just e-mail the address of the final destination to info@studiosixtysix.ca and include information regarding the Work(s) of Art of interest.

3. DUTY
Canadian Customers - no duty costs apply!

US Customers - Original, Canadian artwork is entitled to enter the US duty-free. In order for US customs to release your shipment into the US a Tax ID or Social Security Number may be required. We cannot anticipate any additional fees individual states may require for web purchases after the fact.

Other Countries- Most nations allow the importation of original art work without duty. If unsure, check with your Country's Duty policies.

4. PAYMENT
Studio Sixty Six uses various forms of payment including secure credit card processing through Shopify and Paypal for online payments. Paypal allows us to safely process your credit card payments and complete financial transactions as securely as possible. You will receive an email receipt to confirm Studio Sixty Six has received your order.

5. VERIFICATION
Studio Sixty Six will confirm the purchase price paid on PayPal matches our records (master price list) prior to shipment. In the unusual event of a discrepancy, the purchaser will be fully refunded.

6. AVAILABILITY
In the unlikely event that a Work of Art of is sold in the gallery just prior or simultaneously to us receiving the online sale e-mail notification from Paypal, the client in the gallery shall have first rights to purchase and you will be fully refunded.

7. CURRENCY
All prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.

8. PRIVACY
Studio Sixty Six does not disclose buyers' information to third parties.

Overview

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Motivated and entrepreneurial.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a small team. 
  • Computer literacy: Google Suite, Microsoft 365, Inventory Management Systems, and CRMs like Hubspot or Salesforce.
  • The minimum education requirements are a Bachelors in business, marketing, arts, arts management, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred. 
  • A valid driver's license. 

Sales & Marketing

  • At least three years of experience in sales and marketing. 
  • Expert knowledge in inbound and outbound strategies and tactics. 
  • Knowledge in applying agile methodologies. 

Assets

  • Knowledge of contemporary art. 
  • Bilingualism (French)
  • Degree in an art-related field.
  • Sales experience with luxury products
  • Design, art direction, or agency experience. 
  • Moderate to expert knowledge using Adobe CC. 
  • Knowledge of Shopify.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Supporting the director in building relationships with existing and new collectors. Responding to collector needs.
  • Briefing/consulting the Studio Sales Manager regarding client contacts on an ongoing basis.
  • Attending events to increase potential contacts and increase the gallery’s profile

Marketing 

  • Assisting the Artistic Director with advertising and marketing exhibitions via various digital platforms as well as dispersal of print invitations.

Gallery Administration

  • Answering general queries, monitoring of general email account, and reporting back to the Gallery Sales Manager when working alone.
  • Ensuring the gallery is maintained and organized. This may require helping with installation, organizing the storage room, assisting with packaging, and moving artwork to clients' homes. 

Events

  • Assistance at exhibition openings and special events. 
  • Participate at art fairs in Toronto, Chicago, and New York. 

Hours: 10 hrs a week minimum and up to 35 hours a week.  

Type:  Part-Time/ Full-Time On-site

Pay: Based on experience. Commission.
