"In this series, I continue to investigate liminality - the sense of being in between - by focusing on people just outside San Francisco’s train station, commuting to their day. I was drawn to the life in all these people on the move, and the simultaneous sense of individuality and collectivity. I was also compelled by the play between the morning light and long winter shadows: like a dance or a dialogue, layers that we walk on and through.

"When making an image transfer, I enjoy the push and pull between control of the process and surrender to the imperfections - tears, scratches, finger marks, unevenness - that inevitably happen and become integral to the work. The resulting monoprint is a transparent image on translucent film, which feels of a piece with the subject itself."

Do you provide framing services?

We handle custom framing for purchased artworks by working with a trusted, high quality framer based in Ottawa. Framing orders typically take 2 to 3 weeks for completion and use high quality materials. Quotes can be provided.

Do you install artwork?

Yes! We deliver, hang, and install artwork for clients locally in Ottawa. This service is complimentary with the purchase of an artwork.

How does shipping work?

We provide both domestic and international shipping. Quotes are prepared on a case by case basis depending on the size, weight, and medium of the artwork as well as its destination.

Is there parking available at the gallery?

We are located in the heart of the Glebe neighbourhood at the intersection of Bank Street and Fifth Avenue. Metered street parking is available infront of the gallery and 1-hour parking on the residential streets surrounding the gallery.
