"It was my intent that the tiny detailed forms are seen as individuals in a population rather than read as texture. The forms evoke structures in nature – single-celled organisms, bacteria, plant cells, Celestial bodies, mineral crystals, mollusks, gastropods, coral, fungus or molds. These smaller drawings can suggest directions for the larger compositions."
